Massage has been around for thousands of years and has always been one of the most natural and instinctive methods for relieving discomfort and pain. It has been proven to alleviate pain, improve range of motion, reduce stress, improve immune function, increase circulation, reduce headaches or migraines, lower blood pressure and anxiety, facilitate growth,  increase learning and attentiveness for those with ADHD or learning disabilities, improve sleep, promote healing of psychiatric conditions and much more.  When incorporated into a regular wellness routine it helps maintain physical, mental and emotional well-being.


Swedish Massage- Long gliding strokes, kneading, vibration, compression and tapotement are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body and stimulate circulation.   For a first time massage this is very gentile, and relaxing.

Therapeutic Massage- Also referred to as Deep Tissue. Similar to Swedish, but the strokes are deeper and slower and focus on areas of pain and tension.  You may feel discomfort or pain for 1-2 days afterwards.

Hot Stone Massage-Smooth, heated stones are placed on the body while the therapist massages other parts of the body, or uses them as an extension of their own hands.  The heat helps warm up tight muscles, allowing the therapist to work more deeply, more quickly.  Deeply relaxing!     

*Contraindicated for pregnancy, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or for those that are taking blood thinners, have sunburn or are menopausal.

Chair Massage- Known as seated or on-site massage. This technique involves the use of a specially designed chair in which the client is fully clothed and comfortably seated.  Just 15 minutes is all it takes to recharge your batteries and improve job performance.

Paraffin Wax- Helps improve blood circulation in the treated area.  Also very beneficial for the treatment of joint pain that may be caused by arthritis.  It also provides intense moisturizing to rejuvenate excessively dry skin.
